Take a breath and blow into
the didge with your lips inside the mouthpiece.
To get a feel for creating the "drone tone", start with your
lips slightly opened and relaxed as you blow, then slowly bring them together
till you hear the buzzing tone,
Once you have the basic tone, you can vary it by moving your tongue and
cheeks along with changing the tightness of your lips. Try adding your
voice to the mix!
Advanced players can learn "Circular Breathing" a method of
playing where you breathe in through the nose while still blowing air
through the didge, creating a continuos, non-stop tone. It's tough, but
worth it to learn!
